Here's a number that stopped me cold this morning: 12% of American teens are using AI chatbots for emotional support.

Not for homework. Not for fun. For someone to talk to.

Pew Research just dropped a massive study on teens and AI, and the biggest takeaway isn't how much they're using it β€” it's how little the adults in their lives know about it. There's a 13-point gap between teens who use chatbots and parents who think they do.

The Moltbook hype reveals an uncomfortable truth: Most people cannot tell the difference between genuine AI capability and clever marketing. When former Tesla AI director calls something "the most incredible sci fi thing" then warns it is a "dumpster fire" days later, something is off. AI literacy is not optional anymore.

Researchers call it the "third digital divide." Layer 1: Can you connect? Layer 2: Do you have the skills? Layer 3: Do you have support? Wealthier schools get training and integration. Under resourced schools get tools dropped in without help. AI becomes a gap widener, not an equalizer.

Here's the uncomfortable truth from the UPS transformation: Revenue per piece rose 8.3% while they handled FEWER packages. Fewer workers. Higher profits. Operational skills are becoming commoditized. Strategic and technical skills are becoming premium. Which category are your skills in?

Elon Musk may combine SpaceX, xAI, and Tesla into a $1+ trillion company. But the real story is not the merger. It is where AI computing is headed: space. Unlimited solar. No weather. Cheaper than Earth within 3 years. This changes everything.
