🌱 Today's Teaching Topic: AI Agents 101 — The Basics Every Learner Needs to Know

Most people think they understand AI because they've used a chatbot. But there's a fundamental shift happening right now that changes everything — the move from AI that responds to AI that works.

Today I'm breaking down what AI agents actually are, why they're different from chatbots, and the one question that matters more than "will AI take my job?"

The Agency Ladder:
• Level 1 — Reactive: You ask, AI answers. No memory. No tools.
• Level 2 — Assistive: AI accesses your files, searches the web, executes multi-step tasks.
• Level 3 — Autonomous: AI monitors, decides, and acts without human involvement.

Most of us are moving between Level 1 and Level 2 right now. The key skill isn't learning to prompt AI — it's learning to see your own work through an agentic lens.
