Where do your best ideas die?
Today's question: where do your best ideas die?
For most of us, the answer is the same. They die in the gap between the moment they happen and the moment we sit down to do something with them. The shower thought. The drive-home insight. The thing you wanted to remember from that book.
That gap is exactly what a second brain is supposed to close. Not by being clever. By being there when you need it.
Today on The Daily Seed I am walking through how to build one in about thirty minutes using plain Markdown files and a free app called Obsidian. The whole system runs on three folders. No subscription. No vendor lock-in. No setup tutorial that takes longer than the system itself.
I also dropped two free companion resources in the SeedStacking Resources space. A starter vault you can download and a personalized workflow tool that gives you a barrier-aware first-week plan based on what has stopped you before.
So tell me: what is the system you use right now to remember things? Apple Notes? Sticky notes? Memory and prayer? A Notion database with seventeen tabs you never open?
I am curious where everyone is starting from. Drop yours below.
