📋 How to Use Your Community Boards

Community Boards let you visually track your AI literacy growth using the SeedStacking™ framework. Create cards for the skills you're working on and drag them through four stages as you build real fluency.

Getting Started

Click 📋 My Boards in the top navigation bar to open your boards.

The Four SeedStacking™ Stages

Every board uses these four stages. Drag your cards from left to right as you grow:

🌱 Seed — Planted → You've identified a skill or tool to learn
🌿 Sprout — Cultivating → You're actively learning (tutorials, docs, experiments)
🌳 Grow — Connecting → You're applying it to real work and projects
🌾 Harvest — Transformed → You've mastered it and can teach others

Your Three Boards

🌱 SeedStacking™ Community Board
Create a card for each AI skill you want to build. Click + Add Task in the 🌱 Seed column, give it a specific title (e.g., "Use Claude for lesson planning"), add a label, and start dragging as you learn. The whole community sees your progress.

Card Labels: 🟢 AI Tools · 🟡 Prompting · 🟠 WorkFlow · 🟣 Teaching · 🔴 MindSet

🌱 AI Tool Mastery Tracker
Eight AI tools are pre-loaded: Claude, ChatGPT, Gamma AI, Canva AI, Google NotebookLM, Zapier AI, Prompt Engineering Fundamentals, and AI in the Classroom. Assign yourself to the tools you're learning and drag them through the stages. Add comments with your tips — others learning the same tool will see them.

🌱 Weekly Seed Challenge
Each week's challenge gets tracked here. Create a card when you accept the challenge, drag to 🌿 Attempting when you start, post your results in the Weekly Seed Challenge space, then drag to 🌳 Submitted. Professor Dean moves completed cards to 🌾 Completed — you earned your Seed!

Tips

🎯 Start with one card. Don't overload — pick the skill that matters most right now.
📝 Use comments as a journal. Track what worked, what didn't, what you'd do differently.
🌾 Celebrate Harvests. When someone reaches Harvest, drop a comment. Recognition matters.
⏳ Don't rush. A card in 🌳 Grow for three weeks is worth more than one that skips to 🌾 Harvest in two days.
🔍 Be specific. "Learn AI" is too vague. "Use Claude to write weekly lesson plans for my 8th grade class" is a card you can finish.

Quick Start: 60 Seconds

1. Click 📋 My Boards in the top nav
2. Open the SeedStacking™ Community Board
3. Click + Add Task in the 🌱 Seed column
4. Type the AI skill you want to learn
5. That's it. You're SeedStacking.
