A credential proves you started. It does not prove you kept going. This kit turns a badge into a stack, four small sessions that compound into real capability. Work them in order. Check the boxes. Write your answers in. Print it when you finish and keep it where you will see it.
1. Name the skip
Pick one task you already do every week where you quietly avoid AI, or use it badly. Naming it is the whole job here.
2. Run it once, on purpose
Do that task with one AI tool, start to finish, today. Not a demo. The real thing. Notice where it helped and where you had to correct it.
3. Build the judgment layer
Fluency without judgment is just faster mistakes. Write your own two question check you will run on any AI output before you trust it. Make it specific to your work.
4. Teach it to one person
You do not own a skill until you can hand it to someone else. Show one colleague, student, or friend the task and your trust check. Then decide the next skip to stack next week.
The rule that makes it stick
