The Rhythm Audit

Find the hour your week already protects, and put one AI practice inside it. Four sittings, about an hour and three quarters, on a week you have already lived.

0 of 12 fields filled

Why this works: a study of 76,485 online students found that AI use tracked their existing study schedule rather than creating a new one. Usage peaked on weekday afternoons, dropped on weekends, and shifted to evenings for students who held jobs. The week came first. The tool moved in. This kit finds your week before it asks you to change anything.

Map the week you actually had

Open last week, not next week. Next week is a wish. Last week is evidence.

1. Name the three blocks last week where you did focused work that mattered.

Day and rough hours. If you cannot find three, write two and say so.

2. Which of those three actually held? Which got eaten?

Be honest about the one that vanished. That is useful data, not a failure.

3. What time of day are you sharpest, based on last week rather than on what you tell people?

Sprout20 minutes

Name the task that lives in the biggest block

One task. Not a category, not a project. The specific thing you sit down and do.

4. What is the task?

Write it as a verb and an object. Grade the reflection papers. Draft the board update.

5. What does finishing it well actually require of you?

The judgment, the knowledge, the care. The part that is the reason you and not somebody else.

6. Which part of it is mechanical, and how long does that part take?

Grow30 minutes

Run it once, at the real hour

Not a demo. Not a sandbox. The real task, in the real block, with AI in the loop for the mechanical part only.

7. Where exactly did you put the tool in the sequence?

Before your judgment, after it, or beside it. This is the whole decision.

8. What did you have to fix afterward?

9. How long did it take compared with your normal run?

Clock it. A feeling of speed is not speed.

Harvest40 minutes

Decide, then hand it to somebody

One run is an anecdote. A written decision that a colleague can argue with is a method.

10. Keep, change, or drop? Say why in one sentence.

11. Which block on next week’s calendar does this now live in permanently?

Name the day and the hour. If you cannot name it, the practice has no home and it will not survive.

12. Who are you handing this to, and what is the one line you want them to challenge?

Bring answer 12 to the community. Post the line you want challenged and the block it lives in, and the room will argue it with you. That is the part a worksheet cannot do on its own.

Plant Ideas. Cultivate Skills. Harvest Results.
